Students will study farming and managing animal (domestic and wild) including its welfare, nutrition, and breeding. The main subject is Bali Cattle, a well-known cattle species in Indonesia, which is compact, well muscled and virtually fat-free. which is ideal for beef production.

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry had been recognized for a significant contribution to the development of science in (Three) Stratification of Feed.

Specialized academic staffs will train students to develop abilities in breeding/production, nutrition and the socio-economic side of the industry, and equip students with the entrepreneurship skills.

1. Department of Animal Production
Taught subjects include Breeding and reproduction, (Three) Stratification of Feed, Diseases, and Artificial Insemination.
2. Department of Animal Nutrition
Taught Subjects include Nutrition, Biochemistry, Food Production and Technology, Soil Science and Fertilizer.
3. Department of Animal Husbandry Socio-Economics
Taught Subjects include Economics and Management, Agribusiness, Communication and Information.
